Couple Christens Dallas Cowboy Stadium Bathroom Stall

By The Computer Guru

On Monday night, the Cowboys got their first win in the new Cowboy stadium in Arlington, Texas. Unfortunately, a couple decided to be the first to "christen" one of the bathroom stalls reserved for the handicapped.

Many Cowboys fans were startled by the odd noises coming from the Hall of Fame box level bathroom stall, where a couple clad in Michael Irvin jerseys were having sex at the end of the 4th quarter of the game.

There are obviously many jokes to be inserted here, but this is not an adult blog. As usual, simply Google this subject if you want to see a three second video captured from someones cellphone.

South Carolina Republican Joe Wilson - You Sir Are A Disgrace!

By The Computer Guru
OpenlineATL

For the first time in the history of this republic, President Obama's speech on health care to members of Congress was interrupted from a heckler who happened to be an elected representative. South Carolina Republican Joe Wilson shouted, "You lie!" during the Presidents speech to Congress - in view of the nation and indeed the world.

This is yet another case of the GOP ratcheting up the hate and disrespect for the office of president and the African American who holds it. It is indeed disturbing that the GOP continues to encourage a climate of blind hatred and disrespect that may indeed escalate to violence. Shouts of "Kill him" have already been documented from GOP rallies during the last election. Guns and assault riffles have been prominently shown outside his gatherings for town hall meetings.

My concern here is that the GOP is paving the way for ultimate un-civil acts from the 60's. Remember a famous quote from George Santayana:

"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."

2009 US Open and Melanie Oudin - EPSN's Embarrassing Coverage

By The Computer Guru

If you managed to suffer through EPSN's embarrassing coverage of the women's quarterfinals, reality finally set in for the teenage star from Georgia - Melanie Oudin. In 90 minutes, her storybook run through the U.S. Open ended with a 6-2, 6-2 loss to another teen - Caroline Wozniacki. Her family and friends were all dressed in matching black and yellow ``BELIEVE'' T-shirts, but T-shirts.

Unfortunately, shrieks and slogans could not change the inevitable - she lost because she simply was not good enough! In spite of the hype, Melanie proved she is not mentally and physically strong enough to win a Grand Slam tournament.

Aside from the play on the court, the ridiculous media coverage and ESPN slavering over the teen was disgusting! For the first time I can remember, the LOSER was interviewed before the winner. Pam Shriver made the absurd statement, "Well, we normally don't interview losers, but you're not a loser to us...". Are you kidding me?

I understand this country's yearning for a "Great-White-Hope", especially in women's tennis. However, let her WIN a tournament first, especially a Grand Slam, before we start making billboards. Anyone remember Russian-born Anna Kornikova?

I have no doubt that she will be making commercials within the next few months. Sponsors of skin cream, tennis shoes, IPODs etc. will be lining up to throw money at her.

Here's my suggestion for Melanie (and her twin sister) - cash in NOW before it's too late! Buy some breast implants and Goggle "Anna Kornikova" - she's been there and done that!

President Obama's Speech - What He Really Said

By The Computer Guru
OpenlineATL

I just finished listening to president Obama's speech to school kids at Wakefield High School in the Washington suburb of Arlington Virginia. The speech took place around 11:00am (EST) and lasted around 20 minutes or so. Contrary to what the right wing GOP scared many parents about, the speech was inspirational and centered around things every child in America should hear such as:

  • "If you quit on school, you're not just quitting on yourself, you're quitting on your country," ...
  • "I know that sometimes you get the sense from TV that you can be rich and successful without any hard work -- that your ticket to success is through rapping or basketball or being a reality TV star when, chances are, you're not going to be any of those things," ...
  • "But the truth is, being successful is hard. You won't love every subject you study. You won't click with every teacher. Not every homework assignment will seem completely relevant to your life right this minute. And you won't necessarily succeed at everything the first time you try." ...

The speech contained nothing but positive words for children of all parties, races, religions etc. Unfortunately, the GOP is so determined to use misinformation and fear tactics to scare some parents into denying their kids lessons they never learned themselves.

It is the children of these kinds of parents who truly suffer and grow up just as ignorant and gullible. Unfortunately, they often grow up and behave just like their parents did. The progress of this country is retarded as a result.

Maia Campbell - From Actress To Prostitute?

By The Computer Guru

Maia Campbell was part of cast of the 1995 series "In The House" featuring LL Cool J, Kim Wayans and Alfonso Ribeiro. She was a beautiful actress with a fairly good TV and movie career. Those were the good old days. I'm using past tense here because Maia is a long way from that now.

As of last week, the internet was buzzing over Maia's alleged drug use and prostitution. To date, there are several videos and photos showing Maia Campbell in various stages of undress all the way to complete nudity. Maia Campbell is reportedly bi-polar and a schizophrenic refusing to take medication. Some have alleged that she's had problems with prescription pills in the past.

Most disturbing of all, is the internet video featuring Maia Campbell in a car eating chips while ranting against an idiot with a camera. This clip is about six minutes long and I have to say it is the most disturbing example of what crack and Methamphetamines can do to ANYONE!

Perhaps Maia's own medical and family issues helped push her over the edge. However, we have all seen this happen to both the poor and uneducated. Of course it also happens to the rich and famous.

I'm not putting a link to the video here - you can Google it and find it easily enough. I warn you that it is hard to watch knowing Maia's bio. It should also be hard to watch anyone fall prey to such powerful drugs without doing something to help.

You would think Maia's fellow actors would come to the rescue - eventually...

On Obama's Speech To School Children - How Low Can The GOP Go?

By The Computer Guru
OpenlineATL

On Tuesday (September 8th, 2009), president Barack Obama is planning a speech to the school children of the United States on the importance of education. Obama will give the speech at Wakefield High School in Arlington, VA, and it will be broadcast on the White House website as well as CSPAN.

One would think that even morons in the GOP would give their partisan visceral hate a rest on this one. Well, not so fast!

It turns out the GOP is determined to give no measure of respect to the office of the presidency or its occupant unless he happens to be a Republican. Shortly after the announcement, Florida's GOP Chair Jim Greer denounced the speech, warning that Obama will attempt to indoctrinate students with "socialist ideology." Some members of the GOP are even suggesting that children be removed from class rather than hear the Obama's speech.

Here's the bottom line. The GOP continues to act like hateful spoiled children when they lose! Rather than accept defeat like grown adults, they would rather change the rules or take their ball and go home.

What the GOP is doing on this subject is teaching kids NOT to respect authority and NOT to be civil when they disagree.

It is truly a sad state of affairs when our electorate is no more mature than our children.
